Leather New is a self-polishing saddle soap that cleans, softens and polishes your leather in one easy step, leaving a long-lasting shine. Removes encrusted and trapped dirt and grime deep within the leather. Simply spray and rub in with ease.
Use after every ride. Leather New is an easy-to-use system to simplify leather care for the horse owner. It protects and preserves the color and texture of the leather, making it supple with a glossy finish.
It does not dull or stain, and does not leave any oily residue.
First remove dust and dirt from the leather with a soft brush or vacuum. Spray Leather New Spray directly onto the leather to be treated.
Note: Do not allow Leather New Spray to drip. Use a soft, dry cloth to spread it over the leather to be treated.
Be sure to use a soft enough cloth that can penetrate seams and cracks. Rub with the cloth until the foam disappears. Polish with a clean, dry cloth. Use Leather New Spray even on wet leather to prevent the leather from hardening. Also use on hardened leather to soften it and prevent cracking.

LEATHER CARE: SOME INDICATIONS
The use of leather items causes microscopic superficial fractures in the structure of the skin (invisible to the naked eye).
These lesions provide a gateway for the leather’s worst enemies, including water, dirt, grease and the salt in the horse’s sweat, which can penetrate right down to the interconnecting fibres and compromise the corium. However, regular care, which includes cleaning and application of soap, creams and softening oils, largely eliminates damage to the leather, ensuring its softness and mechanical qualities for many years.
THE IMPORTANCE OF LEATHER MAINTENANCE: Each item of saddlery should be cleaned immediately after use to remove salts from the horse's sweat and grease. All saddlery should be thoroughly cleaned after 4-5 uses. For example, to ensure that the headstall is cleaned as thoroughly as possible, it is necessary to separate all the pieces that compose it and clean them individually.
