NO DOPING
Anyone who has a horse knows that as soon as the good weather arrives, flies, horseflies and midges inevitably appear and a real torture begins for our horse. Whether in his box, in the paddock or on a walk, he no longer has a moment of peace... every second he has some insect on him.
Brand new spot-on insecticide for the control of horseflies, flies, midges, mosquitoes and ticks that annoy the horse inside and outside the stable. Unlike all other insecticides/insect repellents that remain on the horse's skin, Equi-Spot is positioned in the subcutaneous tissue remaining active for 14 days even if the horse is completely washed or sweats profusely.
It is recommended to apply the product after sunset.

Equi Spot protects the horse from horseflies, flies, midges, mosquitoes and ticks, both in the stable and outdoors. Its particular formulation guarantees resistance to water and sweat, making it a practical and effective product.
The product has a dual action towards blood-sucking arthropods when they come into contact with the treated animal:
1) Insecticide/acaricide with prolonged contact times
2) Irritant for the insect with shorter times: the latter, known as the "antifeeding" effect, manifests itself with the inability of the arthropod to take a blood meal and its consequent removal.
The contents of a 10 ml pipette on the animal, as follows:
• 5 ml along the line of the back, starting from the head (between the ears) along the base of the mane and the dorsal midline up to the pelvis (base of the tail);
• 1 ml in the upper part of the forehead, under the forelock;
• 1 ml on the back of each forelimb, between the knee and the fetlock (2 ml in total);
• 1 ml on the back of each hind limb, between the hock and the fetlock (2 ml in total).
Equi-Spot is really easy to apply! In fact, each pipette contains the perfect dosage, 10ml of product, and therefore we will never risk putting too much or too little. Just apply one as indicated and you're done. Equispot spreads and automatically penetrates the layers of the horse's skin and for the following 14 days we no longer have to go crazy with sprays, fly blankets, etc., because Equi-Spot creates a sort of invisible barrier that keeps all the insects away.
Does it really last 14 days?
Well yes! Equi-Spot is an American product and as such is subjected to strict controls, not only on quality, but also on the duration of its effectiveness over time. Our horse will be 100% protected from the first to the fourteenth day.
Do not wash the horse the day before and the day after treatment. It is recommended to apply the product in the evening hours, as permethrin is photosensitive and thus reduces the risk of dermatitis at the application points.
It remains active for 14 days even if the horse sweats profusely or is washed completely.
How we would like to provide him with total protection, 24 hours a day!
Equispot is a protection that does not disappear if we wash it or sweat, a protection that we do not have to apply every day. Equi-Spot is the solution to these problems of ours! A 'Spot-on' insect repellent, like single-dose flea pipettes for dogs, to be applied only every 14 days.
Equi-Spot contains Permethrin, a molecule with a photosensitive antiparasitic action. It is therefore advisable to apply the product in the evening hours to ensure its full activity.
It is also advisable not to wash the horse, especially with shampoo or soap, the day before and the day after administration.
