HOW TO CHOOSE THE SIZE OF THE BLANKET FOR YOUR HORSE?
To choose the right blanket for your horse it is important to note, with a seamstress' centimeter, the distance from the center of the withers to the beginning of the tail, following the horse's back.
The last photo of the product sheet shows a diagram that can help you measure correctly.
The choice of the size of the horse blanket is very important: if the blanket is too small, the horse could weaken or a movement will be enough to tear it. However, if it is too big, it could hinder his movement or tear the blanket.
Let's take an example: if your horse's size is 143 cm, you can take the 145 cm size: if the blanket has girth straps, a front closure and laces for the undertail allow you to adjust it by a few centimetres, allowing freedom of movement and comfort to the horse.

The size dropdown on the sheet refers to the withers/tail measurement, therefore, after you have measured your horse's back, choose the size from the dropdown based on the measurement taken on your horse's back.
Attention: the measurements of riding blankets can vary by 2/3 cm compared to the standards, so keep in mind a tolerance of a few centimeters.

It is also very important to consider the chest/tail size of the blankets, for those horse breeds, especially American ones, which have a short back but a wide and pronounced chest. Precisely for Quarter horses and their derivatives there are specific blankets made with a gluing cut more favorable to their standard. To locate these blankets, simply search the site for "American cut" in the product name or description.

Horse blankets start from 75cm up to 165cm withers/tail: sizes 75 to 100cm fit foals, mini ponies and shetty horses.
The sizes for adult horses with various heights at the withers start from 100 cm.
